a friend adopted a dog from the Cherokee County Animal Shelter in December. Was not informed that the dog was aggressive towards children and other dogs. They want to return the dog without being prevented from adopting in the future.

don’t know age. this shelter will prevent you from adopting in the future if you return the dog. at least that’s what they were told. stupid policy when dealing with an aggressive animal.

Hey there. I hope this finds you well. Animal shelters nor rescues really know the history of an animal. They can only observe it for so many days and then make an assessment from there. If the animal is aggressive it shouldn't be a problem returning it. And they shouldn't have a problem adopting in the future. Out of curiosity how old is the dog?
