No, but go early. They close the shops at 5-6. Go to the village first and then to the house at night. Go during the week. If you can, go to the Biltmore Stables for something to eat. Incredible
Yes, you need a ticket to shop in Antler Village. If you know someone with an annual pass, they can bring you as a guest after 5:00PM. Otherwise, there is a gift shop at the entrance/main gate where you can shop without a ticket or annual pass.

The Village Shops are outside the estate and are a variety of interests. Enjoyable walk and lots of very interesting things to look at.
