Lots of high end shops in a very pretty setting. If you need high end custom clothes this place is great. On the other hand I was not willing to spend one dollars to see the Biltmore Mansion. It looks like they have plenty of money already. I guess that's why there rich and I'm not

It was an amazing experience. We went on a high school field trip decades ago and I had no interest in it...But this trip was spectacular. Digesting the rich history and some very innovative technology for their time. The laundry drying racks, refrigerator systems, staff's quarters, guest quarters. Highly recommend the self guided Audio tour.

Beautiful place. Was worth going but was a little disappointed at the end. Our 90 min tour tickets were for the 2:30pm time slot but towards the end they were trying to push is out so they can close (about an hour in). My wife was truly enjoying herself away from the kids and she loves history. But we were really turned off by what they did to us. I guess no southern hospitality when it comes to when they want to go home!

Downtown Asheville very busy heavy traffic limited parking but do the time and very close to Christmas be prepared for parking issues even midday and well worth the wait as you can tell a lot of characters people dressed up and roasted chestnuts first for our group of four but well worth the wait well worth the drive on stopped at a place on the way in that great food Traffic Service a couple people got a little hairy at the drive-in with each other but besides that I mean it was very nice that shots are free there were four are friendly and enjoy yourselves and you can't be Asheville as far as a very nice tourist place to go

No, but go early. They close the shops at 5-6. Go to the village first and then to the house at night. Go during the week. If you can, go to the Biltmore Stables for something to eat. Incredible
