Its Pretty safe, They have more police officer walking around since many issues has come up at the fair, I know, because I worked at the fair last year, Every day it opened, Just remeber every where you go, There is danger, so just be aware of your surrounding, in any location that you visit, I hope this has answered your question and ease your mind a little.
