What is the difference between IMAX & RPX? Or Standard and Rpx? Dont want to purchase the wrong type of ticket. Thanks

RPX is more about the sound, everything vibrates during action scenes, it has a larger screen but not nearly as large as IMAX. IMAX has a mega size screen and tends to show 3D movies.

I saw Lord of the Rings in RPX. The screen is bigger, but the biggest difference is in the sound. The floor and seats actually vibrated. It was close to overwhelming. People say the screen is better than Imax, but i don't have enough experience to say for sure but RPX was a great way to experience the director's cut of LOTR.
