If you know where the nest is , return it . 9 x out of 10 the mother will take it back even to though its been handled . The mothers rarely go to the nest except to feed them once or twice a day (much like a deer does with her fawn). So unless shes been killed by a car or predator she will be glad to get her kit back in the nest . If shes been killed you can go onto NCWildlifeFederation and see if theres someone currently taking in baby rabbits for rescue snd release. Good for you for stepping up to help :)
