The ride itself lasts for a few minutes (2-3) but the smiles and memories will last a lot longer. You'll enjoy the experience!

Not long at all, that is if you don't ride it over and over again all day. One thing to note is that if you ride it once the second ride has a discount, though the third isn't the fourth is and so on.
I'd put it in the 2-3 minute range.
