They don't pay for recycling. It's a place you can get rid of almost any recycling item except for tires. They have to go to the transfer station next door

The Recycling center does a bag for a bag recycling program. Trash is bagged, recycling is not. As long as you have equal amounts of trash and recycling, this program is free. The Transfer station does offer a by the lb pricing for commercial vehicles, I don't believe they do it for standard household trash. The flat rate for trash if I remember correctly is $15 (thats all I pay for a truck bed full of trash) and different items also have different rates for appliances and the such. The transfer station also has a recycling area, but if you've got enough, it's easier for you to save your money and go on to the recycling center right beside it. Hope this helps!
