Why was the 2018 contract between BCBS and SLUHN renegotiated to make regular family doctors categorized as "specialists" requiring patients to pay $40 for visits? It seems to coincide with acquiring community facilities and building new hospitals.

Charged $25 at the office and receive follow up billing for an additional $15 for every single appointment in 2018. Contacted billing and BCBS and was told the new contract considers my family physician a specialist with no other explanation as to why or how. In my personal life, my situation is not untrue.

I'm not aware of that so I can not give you an informed answer. I'm sorry.
