However I feel bad for you because of the situation when they did not admit you and by treating you rudely that is uncalled for an unacceptable! So what you should do from this point is contact the board of hospitals file a complaint or contact an attorney on your behalf that always works. Actually - ANTHONY WEST- It is 100% ILLEGAL for ANY Emergency Room to turn Anyone away! With or without Health Insurance OR "Proper Identification"! LOOK IT UP!
If you don't have proper insurance or proper identification the hospital can refuse to admit you. I am sorry for that situation, but you can goto a ugerent care doctor to get help. Piedmont Newnan is a better hospital than Piedmont Fayette.
This wouldn't be considered turning away. they saw the patient, the patient was not admitted. If hospitals admitted every patient that came to the ED that would be unmanageable
Wow!!!!!!I had the same problem with them. I went to Fayette ER with SOB and chest pain and they gave me milk of mag cocktail and sent me home. A few days later I went to piedmont downtown with the same symptoms and was admitted with blood clots forming in my L leg that had traveled to my lungs!!!!!
