There is, but only when a driver is passing through... Most Athens drivers will ignore a request from that far away because it is 80% unpaid miles to go get someone and then the pay isn't impressive to take the rider on a short or long trip. Uber works best for quick pickups. Driver only gets $15 to drive someone from Commerce to Athens so that makes it a laughable $7.50 each way... They can stay in Athens for more pay.
