I work here. We operate an emergency overnight shelter for men from our downtown Lawrence Street location. So yes, that is a shelter. In addition we have long-term residential programs at our facility called The Crossing and those programs are for men or for families. There are no fees for any of our programs except for our STAR transitional program for families, which charges a very small amount of rent based on income. We never charge for food. Unfortunately we do not offer emergency overnight shelter for women. Please visit Catholic Charities for that need.
Will they let me in with my dog hes esa emotional support service animal n licensed
It's both a men, and women's. How ever it is not really a shelter. There is a men's New Life Program, and the STAR program for women with children, single women, and families, including men, but there is a monthly payment due for housing, and food. The men's program is free.
