I believe you have to fill out an adoption application before you can meet any dogs. Check before you go & possibly waste your time. We were just looking for a cat on Saturday & had to have an adoption app turned in first. Awesome facility & staff.
Yes, this is the best way to find out the dogs temperament. Their new facility has so many more ways to get a better feel for this too! Depending on how soon you are looking to adopt, maybe consider volunteering at the Hamilton County Humane Society walking the dogs. It's a win win for both you and the dogs currently housed there. The application to volunteer is available on their website. **I am just a huge advocate for animals.
