The associates in the store can only give the information that's given to them, it's not their fault if the information isn't totally accurate. The entire furniture industry is still recovering from shut downs due to covid. There's been a material's supply shortage issue in just about every industry in the country and world. I know people that work at Ashley's and at Gardner White, it's been the same for all of them. I know that my friends in both companies are frustrated over the issues that have arisen since the shutdowns. It's a stressful time for them (store level associates) as well, they strive to meet expectations but it's hard because the problems they are experiencing are out of their control. I will reach out to them and see if there's anyone that can give you a better explanation than I can. I don't work there but I have friends that do and I know that they're doing the best they can with everything that's been going on this past year.
Thank you Kelly for the question, BTW James explained the situation fair and square delays are everywhere, and in every industry, if I were you I would call the store where I've purchased the items from and speak to my sales representative, you can always call the store and ask to speak to management
