The township purchased 71.5 acres that include the large Monastery building and surrounding acerage. The Cistercians deeded 14 acres to The Friends of the Cistercian Monastery a 501 3c charity. The 14 acres include the Rosary Garden and rhe Fatima House. These will be preserved in perpetuity as a memorial to the Monks and the order. I go hope this helps answer your question.
