If you never received the title in the mail after paying at the county the best place to start is back at the county. They are mailed from the state title office but are sometimes returned by the post office and labelled "Unclaimed". The county can tell you if it shows "Title Status:UNC" or otherwise and will instruct you on the best way to get a replacement. If you come here first it may cost you a good bit of time and not help you get it right away. The rules have changed regarding titles. At one time you could get your title the same day pretty much regardless of the circumstances. Now it is much more restricted.
