This means that you would need to begin the process again, as if you were securing a first time adult passport. Shaun, I am sorry to not respond sooner to you. Unfortunately, we are not able to assist you in securing a US Passport in that timeframe. You can only secure a passport that quickly by visiting the Department of State in person. Sofia, This is a great risk based on the current processing times we are seeing. Orders are generally coming out within 5 weeks. That is not enough time to secure it in time. However, I have been seeing a number of passports coming out sooner.

That is wonderful news to read. Unfortunately we are not the government and cannot issue your father a passport. If you are not traveling and just wish to get him a passport you would need to please use other avenues in order to secure a passport.
