No parking specifically for the museum, but street metered parking is available nearby, as well as some public parking structures.
Yes, mostly Street parking with meters. Some public parking structures are in the area also
There are public lots (not free) in the general area. Washington is better served with walking or transit.
No dedicated parking, but there is some street parking on meters, commercial parking lots anf and Metro
Park elsewhere and use Capital BikeShare (or Lime Bike, or one if the several "by the ride" bike rental options in & around D.C.). Bicycle commuting is the most convenient--and, if you are comfortable enough negotiating city traffic & fit enough to pedal--way of getting around downtown Washington. No waiting for crowded Metro trains; no paying exorbitant fees for parking a car. There's a Capital BikeShare docking station 1-2 blocks south of the museum on Fourth St. SW. $2 for one 30 min. ride; $8 day (you have to "check in" with your bike before 30 min. elapse to avoid surcharges).
The metro stop is right next door so that is by far the most convenient
Parking on Street
Off street Parking spaces and parking garages are within walking distance.
You park at a meter on the street and walk a couple of blocks
Yes 2hr street parking and parking garages for $15 its well worth the $15 because you would need more then 2hrs to complete the whole museum
Metro is close and can easily walk from the National Mall.
