I am a U.S. Citizen traveling to Mexico for 3 days. My trip is Jan. 6 - Jan. 9. My U.S. passport expires on 4/9/19 . When I try to complete the Mexico Tourist Card online, it won't allow me to finish due to the expiration date (under 6 months)

All passports must be good for at least 6 months

Many places do not allow you to travel with an expiring passport. You will get one of those cards on the plane, and you might be able to slip in under the radar, but you're also in a bit of a tough situation. Their cbp people are pretty tough. This is a problem to take up with the Americans. You might be able to get some sort of card.
