Bedside manner is obviously extremely important for any clinician, from therapists to nurses to doctors. I can only speak for myself but I have had completely positive experiences with clinical outcomes, payment when I had issues with not being insured and also with bedside manner and making me feel comfortable with surgical procedures for my broken shoulder at this practice. All in all I had excellent care and experience at Lancaster Orthopedic Group, I hope all their patients can say the same!
Honestly bedside manner is the least important thing to me. I'd rather direct honest answers. "Bedside manner" is often an excuse to not cut to the chase either in conversation or diagnostic process. I am a patient, not a customer and nothing annoys me more than clinical staff that appear to be shooting for a customer service metric/KPI instead their primary role as clinicians.
