Subin Associates is a high quality, plaintiffs personal injury law firm. They are known as Super Lawyers according to the NY Times Super Lawyer publication. The other entities you mentioned are case lending companies. They lend money to injured people and take a lien against any recovery. These companies are good if you're being evicted because you aren't working and can't pay rent (or similar situations) but they charge very high interest rates. The interest rates are high because if you lose your case they don't get paid back. I highly recommend Subin Associates if you were injured in an accident and want to pursue your legal rights.

Best Case Funding, 5 Star Settlement and 5 Star Legal Funding are all independent companies that provide pre-settlement funding to people who need money while their lawsuits are pending. Subin Associates is one of many firms who have clients that borrow money from these and other funding companies.
