I believe its every sunday, and you can just show up and put your name on the list. It's like 15$ for everybody coming to the show.
There are various Open Mics from Saturday through Monday. PoetNY is the best known one on Sundays from 8-10 PM. Get there by 7:15-7:30 to get a spot to sign up, as spots fill up quickly.
