Terrible job environment.. there’s definitely a bald guy that works there that has terrible human interactions. Completely inconsiderate and unprofessional. There’s plenty of others jobs like this in the city who will accommodate you as a working human. Not as the slave breakaway wants you to be. Don’t work there with Jerome.. hope you guys have a good one.

Terrible place to work at unless you enjoy being worked like a mule for minimum wage. The boss was also a condescending snarky wimp with an unfortunate case of alopecia; Hence his non surprising comment below LOL

All of our job openings are listed in the New York section of indeed.com. Just search for Breakaway. You don't need to speak much English, this is a good way to learn.
It depends on the position. Some are commissioned jobs, so it depends on how much work you do. Other positions receive tips on top of their salary. No one is ever paid less than minimum wage (now $15.00) regardless of the number of jobs they complete.
There may be. Please go to indeed.com and search "Breakaway" - you'll see all our open positions, and you can apply there.
No, you don't need it
You want know until you go. You have to be able to at least convey the persons name and apt to front desk personnel. If you can do that then I don't see why not
You can go to indeed.com and search "Breakaway" - all our open positions will be listed there.
Call the company and speak to Darrell, Gil or Andy for an answer to that question.
Because a lot more people will see it on Indeed.
Actually, we are. Go to indeed.com and search "Breakaway" in NY and you'll see all open positions. Thanks.
Yes, please go to indeed.com and search on "Breakaway" for current openings. Thanks.
Hi John - yes, we are. You can go to indeed.com, search "Breakaway" in NY and apply through the ad. Thanks.
Yes, they have messenger bags, some of them use hand trucks, and they walk or take the subway, depending on the position, what they're delivering and how far they're going. Also, to address the response below, no, you don't have to use a bag purchased from Breakaway. We do have bags for purchase (at less than cost), but you can use any bag you like. Grocery deliveries require hand trucks with the groceries packs in plastic totes.
Go to indeed.com and search "Breakaway". Any open positions will be listed there. You have to apply through Indeed - please do not just come to the office. Thanks for your interest.
You have to be 21.
Yes, we do hire foot messengers as well, you don't need a bike.
I worked here for about a year....Apply on indeed. It pisses Andy off if you just walk in so you'll need to apply on indeed first. He'll send you a message after you've applied telling you the address and what time to go and yadayada then you'll do an actual application in person. It's commission based pay but you always get at least minimum wage which is $13 per hour at the moment. You have to get your own bike and equipment. I don't have any experience with the electric bikes so I can't answer that question but I'm about 90% sure you don't have to rent it. I could be wrong about that though so you're better off asking someone there when you get your interview. Good luck.
I applied and still waiting to get an interview
18 to 22
