Most likely no. Republicans will just write a quick law to give them clemency from it, like all major corporations do, and it will get swept under the rug..but fingers crossed.

The Department of environment great lakes and energy (EGLE) exists to go after these kind of problems. Tribar will more than likely be ordered to restore any damage done and depending on how the leak happened someone may be held criminally liable but there are still many unknowns.
