Fun place, its Big And popular lots of dogs at all hours during daylight. It can be overwhelming for new dogs.. there is a trail around the fenced in area if you are unsure of how your dog may react.. I call the trail the victory lap, we take it once around after a outing. I find it makes rounding up my furballs a breeze because they are ready to go do the next fun thing.

Another awesome Oakland County Park! Really nice well maintained dog park there with responsible and friendly dog owners. A great way to spend a few hours and socialize your canine companion. Love it!

Nice park! my dog enjoys to socialize with other dogs. Would be nice to put a water fountain for summer time.

I live in Wayne County but I try to go to Lyon Oaks dog park as much as possible. I have my dog registered with the city of Taylor so he has his tags. Every time I go to this park I pay $5 for a day pass. You can pay the annual fee if you will be going more frequently.
Usually there is someone at the entrance gate and they have the annual passes available ($30 I think). If no one is there, annual passes are also available online. Daily passes are available at the gate via a ticketing machine and are $5.
Yes. I've never had anyone ask for records but I carry then with me just in case there's an issue where I may need to show a copy.
Not sure. Non residents okland 5.oo.
There are a couple of porta-johns just as you pull into the lot. There are no restrooms with plumbing.
There is a booth near the entrance. There's usually one or two people there, but if not, there's an automated kiosk that takes cards only.
All the time. I'm taking a clients dog there today
Its a county park, how ever much a day pass if between 4-6$
There is a fence, dog does not have to be leashed. You could take your pup to the small dog area to begin with, it is smaller, you might have better control
$5 a day or $35 for the year depending on what county you belong to. No you dont but a good idea to take just in case. I keep my records in my email
I got one at the gate.
I think gabby is referring to Orion Oaks dog park, actually. This one doesn't have a dog beach, unfortunately. Just mud when it rains too much, like it has lately! Be prepared with a towel. 😉
No just a park fee
There is also a daily fee of something like 5-10$
Most people bring big bottles of water to fill tue bowls. Also, in the summer the fountain just outside the gate has a spicket for refilling bottles.
