Have been staying here a little over a year and now I have bees in my apartment. Very frustrating because I can barely sleep and no matter how many I kill, I’m killing more the next day. If the village doesn’t do anything I will sue and move out ASAP

Love where I’m at. There is a grounds keeper named Adam and he always goes above and beyond with his hard work.

Yes
Yes, our apartments are professionally cleaned before each move-in. If you have any further questions, please call our office.
Up to (2) cats per apartment. Non-refundable pet deposit when you move in, on top of your regular security deposit. Pet deposit was $250 when I moved in. Each cat adds $25/mo to rent, you will see "pet rent" itemized on lease & monthly rent statement. (Example: base rent is $600/mo. With one cat you pay $625, with 2 cats you pay $650.) This is extremely reasonable cost for this area! I've paid a lot more for pets within a 1-5 mile radius. Application process is standard, total breeze. Be ready with ID, pay stubs, one month's rent as security deposit. After living here 5 years my rent for a one bedroom on TOP floor is $610/mo plus pet(s). When a pet passes away, a letter from your vet will remove the stated pet from your lease & rent. If you add another pet later, you do not need to put down another pet deposit, they just want a picture of the new animal & will add pet rent accordingly. You'll sign a lease addendum in that case.
AT&T.
I don't think but they might go up to the office and ask
Fluctuates too damn much! Went from paying 535 to 740 within a year!😠
No
I would call the leasing office.
No there not income based an I don't think they take vouchers
Ask him.
Unfortunately no, the village now has an exclusive deal with att. This is the only company that currently services this complex. Though, they do offer at&t's fiber optic service, which is quite good from what I've heard.
If you go to the website, you can pick your bedroom and the move-in date will be available for you.
No, just 1 or 2 bedrooms. You can find out more on our website.
Not directly within the community, but there are lakes and ponds in surrounding areas. Would you like to come back to visit so that you can have your questions answered about the community?
Yes, as long as you patch the holes created upon moving out.

Sign up for budget wise billing with DTE! My bill is between $50-60/mo year round & this year my actual usage was lower than they estimated, so I got a $60 refund. Before I was on budget wise billing I had one month that my electricity bill was nearly $100.
Did you want to come back to tour our model apartment so that you can get a look at everything and to get your questions answered?
Usually winter my dte bill is around $25 but summer it definitely goes up living on the 3rd floor heat rises so far my last bill since i turned on my A/C is almost $70 and that wasn't even having it on all day everyday.
Definitely not! It just keeps the living room and kitchen area cool. The bedroom and bathroom are still pretty hot!
Hello Diamond, it seems like you still have quite a few questions for us. Would you mind giving us a call so we can answer all of these for you? 248.624.6464
I think the first floor is best if you have a lot of family
The 3rd floor is more expensive to live in then the first and second floor. I moved in at the rent starting at 585 on the first floor, just resigned my lease for another year and somehow it went up $25 so now I'm paying $610 a month. When i first applied they said its 565 for the first floor but unfortunately they didn't have any available. My last apartment i lived in it was cheaper to live on the 3rd floor here i guess it's more expensive. I don't understand it really.
I'm on the 3rd floor. Pro no one walking above you. Con you gotta lug groceries/laundry up 3 flights of stairs
My mom is the manager there I have lived there. Very nice there quiet
If you are having issues signing your lease, please call the office.
It depends on when a resident gives their 30-day notice to vacate. Our website refreshes hourly during regular business hours with real-time availability.
Go to edwardrose.com, go to the village page. You can get there by typing wixom Michigan by location or the village by property name. Once on page, click apply now. If under floorplans it says "contact leasing" that means nothing available in that floorplan. If it says "view # available" then there is something in that style. You apply only for apartment you want. You can only apply if there is an apartment available. No wait list. No applying to an apartment you don't want.
That varies, based on the term of their lease. So many factors are there, but you may see more in the summer than the winter as most people don't like to move when there is snow on the ground.
Most of our residents have been able to bring their furniture in through their door.
All of our pricing is available on our website at www.edwardrose.com/thevillage by clicking the Floor Plans tab.
At this exact moment there is ONE available. There is no more waiting lists for this community, rather you must check out the website, and when a unit becomes available under "floor plans" you can apply for it directly from there. You cannot apply if there are no units available, so watch because it's updated hourly! First come - first serve essentially. https://www.edwardrose.com/communities/the-village-in-wixom
There is no more waiting lists with our apartment community, rather, check our website at www.edwardrose.com/thevillage under the Floor Plans tab.
They have door locks at home depot for less than $20. You can get you locks changed yourself Right Now, and all that you would have to do is give management a copy of the key. They require a copy because in the event of an emergency, they will need to have access to your unit. If you change the locks and do not give management a copy, when they find out they will give you a letter telling you that you have until whatever date to do change the lock Back or give them a copy of the key. If you do not comply they will have someone remove the lock and replace it at Your expense. I hope that this helps.
Alterations are allowed as long as you ask & painting is also fine as long as you return it to the original color. Honestly, I've been here for 5 years & have good to excellent experiences with office & maintenance staff. I'm always comfortable with asking when in doubt.
We check every adult applicant's rental, income, credit, and criminal background history. If you are assuming that you have bad credit, it may just mean a higher security deposit. We do not know the formula for our approvals as they are completed by a third party screening company.
Queen size fits perfect. A king wont leave much room to get around
They do have one bedroom and the rate is very affordable regarding the availability its best to contact the office.
Its a decent size apartment for 1 person. For 2 people you may be a little clustered. But their 1 br apt is probably going to be around the same size as any 1 br apt there is
Was in the same situation and was approved.
Please contact our office to discuss as our applications are ran through a third party.
Please check our website for availability as we are posting our apartments that are available as we get them. We no longer have a waiting list for our apartments.
Our doors are 30" wide.
