Is it common practice for your agency to go in and take a dog from a loving home? That was done to friends of mine a few days ago. The little dogs owner passed away and a very nice responsible couple took her in and gave her lots of love.

I'm sorry that happened to your friends. Arizona Small Dog Rescue does not remove dogs from homes.

I don't believe you have the whole story and you may be mistaking small dog rescue for animal control or the humane society
