Hello (all), We do offer Live Lobsters on Tuesdays ONLY. 1.25 lbs each / $19.95/lb. We fly Lobsters overnight that are pulled from traps Monday in Stonington Maine...8 dozen. What we don't sell on Tuesday am are cooked that afternoon, chilled, and picked for our NMF Proper Lobstah Roll that we serve Wednesday. Thanks for the inquiry!
Update: they sell live lobsters on Tuesdays! The more you know! Original: They don't have a tank for live lobsters in the front of the shop and I have not seen lobsters displayed or advertised for sale when I've been in there so I don't think so. They usually have good sized fresh shrimp and stone crab claws in addition to scallops, oysters and a variety of fresh fish. They also have a smaller selection of prepackaged steaks, pork and other various meats which are of high quality. You may need to find your lobster elsewhere but definitely go to Nelson's for some of the freshest fish in the valley!
