Last time we went we did not need a reservation, but in the beginning of it's opening you did need a reservation and a party of six people. I hope this helps.
It does help to reserve it unless u go early .
Wife and I went twice without reservations and got the booth. So it depends when you go.

Yes, it's highly recommended.
Not sure on that but we walked in and were seated right away. It was not a booth.
