Sir, I own a 2014 Honda pilot with 16 ,000 miles on it today I had replace 3 tires for inspection due to dry rot , the 4th blew out on 81 going on vacation ,which cost me 175 to change. is this common?

Check with the dealer or tire manufacturer to see if it should have been covered under a warranty. The cheapest tires I've seen usually has a 45K mile warranty and it goes longer on more expensive tires.

Never owned a Pilot, but the kind of wear you're seeing sounds really odd. Id talk to the tire manufacturer.

If the vehicle sat for a long period of time, yes ties will rot. And if you have tire rot, they are vunerable to blow out.
