First, I was given the incorrect price. Second, I was over charged for a product that I did not received. Third, they never call to tell me my car was ready and it stood there for 24 hours when they promise to give it back on the same day. Next, all they can do it’s give me the difference or change the tires to ones we payed for but that’s another inconvenience because we will have to drop off the car again. That’s more time and gas and inconvenience and hopefully my suvs doesn’t get damage for complaining.

Had 4 new tires installed with balancing. It took double the time to install than quoted. Days later I noticed I was missing a lug nut on a tire. I notified the store of the issue so they could have one ready to install for my appointment. It took 1.5 hours to replace a missing lug nut. They also tried to sell me another balancing???????

As much as there are negative reviews out there, or misinformation, I'll keep it to my own experience here at this location with my 5 star review. I had ordered 4 new tires, and not only was it a quick appointment scheduled, but expert service to match. Prices are on point, and other than a hiccup with the tire pressure monitoring system, I have a nice smooth ride! Thanks to Scott and the staff @ the Carlisle pike Mechanicsburg location, I will keep my service needs in mind if I ever need to visit here again as they go the extra mile 👍🏻

I scheduled an appointment in advance for Saturday afternoon with Pep Boys on the pike for an inspection. Upon arrival, the young man informed me their inspector did not show up for work that day. Why aren't there multiple employees authorized to inspect? Meanwhile, they never called, texted, emailed, or cancelled my appointment. Just let me come all the way out there to find this out. Nevermind sending me back out onto the road uninspected. I realize that I let the inspection run out on my Terrain which is on me, but I trusted them to rectify this. It was obvious by his demeanor he could have cared less. I was so upset. I had to sit in the parking lot making calls to find somewhere else to go which still took another day. Myself and my partner had both been loyal customers to Pep Boys for years, but this was the last straw. This location has changed, the quality work and staff is no longer. Also as a woman, I have to be careful I'm not taken advantage of regarding my vehicle. I'm sorry to say, I haven't been comfortable there for awhile. We will not be returning. We found a new mechanic.

Yes, it’s a Pep Boys Tire and Service Center with mechanics for your car but you can’t just buy parts or products for self-service here.
It’s not closing. It is open for an oil change, repairs and for new tires but you can’t buy parts or products directly for self-service.
