I see your ads on TV about 1 inch opening. Is this on all back surgeries or just some. Do put patient to sleep for back surgery? Thanks in advance

The 1 inch incision does not apply to every back surgery, the length of the incision depends on the surgical procedure being performed on the individuals back & as far as I know the patient is placed under anesthesia but the most accurate answer would come from the surgeon,I can tell you that"Texas Back Institute"is a Top Notch facility & I would definitely recommend TBI if you have a need for surgery as I was a former patient,Tiger Woods & John Travolta were patients of"Texas Back Institute"so that ought to say something about the High Quality Care of Texas Back Institute, hope this response helped.

Former patient here. From my experience there, incision size depends on procedure but they are minimally invasive. I was asleep fully for my surgery on my disc.
