No don't do it just park on hard dirt road and walk to the lake side
We drove our Versa down within about 30 feet of the water on the boat ramp side. We were extremely careful to stay on the hard pack. There were a few other cars in this area also. Who ventured a little farther out on the peninsula and did not get struck. Again, I believe the stayed to the center and hard pack then walked to the shore. Very very loose sand, even hard to walk in as I am handicapped and elderly but I made it to the shore and back.
I would advise against it. The sand gets pretty deep in a lot of areas. There are a few areas that are packed down, but it's not consistent.
You might have a problem getting over the speed bumps at the play ground on the pavement that's not even close to the beach sand!!!
No your car is too low. Park and walk
Depends on how much you value your ride, it's not a truck or 4x4, or maybe you know someone who works for a towing company .
You could park within view, but don't drive on the sand. Stay on hard packed dirt.
What is the risk / reward. High risk of getting stuck & risk of potential damage / reward? ? I have no idea, so what are you going to do?
You can get close by going to one of the campgrounds with a boat ramp, but but that might be tight with the lower center of the car.
Boat ramp.is not being used right now all cement Good for. A vet
