This doesn't sound right/sounds false. I've never ordered soup so I can't speak to that, but I've always received a receipt and complimentary chips and salsa.
Absolute same for me lily. Never had the soup. Always something more substantial. Chips and salsa are always complimentary for me as well. Usually it's a couple baskets of chips and I usually refill the salsa. It has never cost extra. Only pay for the dinners and drinks.
Chips and salsa is always complimentary when you dine in. Was this a To-go order? Still sounds expensive though. I think perhaps a mistake was made somewhere by someone.
