There is a guage the are required to use. Vrake pads that regester in the yellow 4mm should be changed. If your pads are red thats a legal given to be changed at 2mm. I recomend to see the service manager Philip. He us extremely professional. I worked for Bakersfield Chrysler under Philip and performed all the used car safety inspections. Did you buy the car from Mazda recently and is it still under warranty if you did? If that's the case they should be fixing it for you I believe.

Well, you cant blame someone for not being able to hear, especially if they are older....they have ways to actually check the brakes and thats what they should of done. I go there often and they have always been extremely fair and up front.....not to say I havent had the best mechanics, but theyve always corrected and fixed any issues I had.
