I asked the mall attendant what will happen to it. They say it will be for sale but nobody is bidding high enough. If it is not sold & revamped then it will be torn down and properly sold in separate sections.

Yes this is true the mall was sold about a week ago to an investor who is going to tear down the mall and build something else

There have been reports of the property sold and a major redevelopment planned. Everything replaced; by hotel, homes, multi unit apts, office buildings and restaurants. The JC PENNEY mgr said the Penney's store will be one of the last closed and will be receiving products and inventory from other Penney's which are closing. One reason why this store is open and has full inventory at remarkable prices.
