Please, parents, it is the law that your spouse/ex is required to provide you with residence and contact information. Always keep your documents safe and know what your rights are. Keep those documents handy if you are ever faced with that. My daughter was ‘kidnapped’ by her father when she was an infant and I took the Judge’s Orders from our divorce and custody arrangement to get them enforced. I got her back four terrifying hours later but I would never allow my children go anywhere I didn’t know where they would be, spouse/ex, friend, stranger, to no one, but we learn the hard way that sometimes our ex-spouses will just take off with them knowing they are breaking that Order. Hold on to your heart when they leave you and hold onto your children closer when they are with you.
