Yes they will assist you with your rent and electricity there is also you can get assistance from Vincent de Paul I know of other places that you can get assistance if you dial 211 they can tell you a bunch of places that will help you also or you can just go down there they will help you
You can apply for assistance with Collin County Assistance Center. Call for an appointment to apply for rental assistance. Be prepared to show documentation of job loss and ability to pay what you have now. And proof of new job offers if you have it.

Due to being laid off from my job, I need some assistance with my rent this month. I have an approval letter from TWC as I qualify for unemployment. I have been diligently trying to find another one. I will be able to make the full payment including any and all late fees. Just please, I am begging you, not to evict me. I have been a loyal member of this community, causing no trouble, and needing help. I also have been dealing with (211) for all other assistance (food, utilities, medical) along with rent but it may be a week or so. I really need your leeway here. If you know of any assistance programs I would appreciate it. Please help me.
