Meanwhile call the Dallas county C.E.A.P. (Comprehensive energy assistance program) you have to call at 8am & call till you get through. Wait on hold, then ask for an appointment. The hold can be an hour, easily & then they run out of appointments each day. But keep trying till you get one. They put you on the program & it gives you assistance for the rest of the year with a large portion of your electric bill. This is based on income of course. This is a really good program..... They only help with TXU electric bills. Call them first. You need to take certain items with.
I believe they do help with light Bills, you may want to call and ask what all is needed before you go up there.
They do have a program by it's by availably by call n see also call 311 for other places.
