You can do either way, I bought mine online to save time.

They can be purchased in advance it saves time so don't have to wait in line.

Either way...I do recommend buying before you go if possible

All personal preference I bought mine online and just showed them to the front gate people didn't have to wait in line

At the entrance, wear a mask it's still required. It was a very pleasant time.

16501 W Northern Ave, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 That's the address for another Zoo near Phoenix AZ. It's on the opposite side of the Phoenix Zoo. Way better more animals. $2 difference on entrance fee.

Hi Juan, great question! We recommend purchasing tickets in advance online to save time, but you can purchase tickets at the Zoo on the day of your visit as well.
