In our case, it took about 4 hours to see most of the exhibits. While we were there, they also had a dinosaur walk that took an additional 30 minutes. In my opinion, the most impressive stops were the squirrel monkey enclosure, the leopard enclosure, the giant turtles, and the various snakes. Plan to have plenty of bottled water with you.
I would allow for a good amount of time to see at least the exhibits and animals you are interested in seeing. Average is easily 2-3 hours but my family has been there for almost twice that when we rode the train, watched the 4D short film, and stayed to feed the Stingrays. So if you are making a day of it I would plan for a solid 5 hour excursion, if you are going as a randomly planned event or a structured event (school field trip) then I would estimate 3 hours to be safe.
Depends on how thoroughly you go through it and how long you spend looking at each of the animals. If you have little ones that wont last that long, you can see most of the animals in 3-4 hours. There are lots of play areas and even a splash pad for kids so plan on more time if you wanna let them play.
We took our time with our toddler and have been there three times, 4 hours each time and we still haven't seen everything. It definitely is worth it getting a membership
I was there on the 5th of may & yea I was there for about 5 hours... Pretty much covered the whole exhibit .... Even walked threw the rose garden ... It was beautiful btw...
We ended signed up for the membership and spend about an hour to 2 a visit (unless there are events). It allows us to take our time and enjoy it with the baby.
I agree with K. We got there at 10. Left at 130. But some areas rushed through a little. Depends on your interests. How many people in your group. Now thats its getting hot take alot of rest breaks into consideration.
You can make it as long or short as you'd like. There are days worth of activities and exhibits
It depends on your speed and interest. I am the extreme end of the spectrum. I ended up getting a pass and spent 5 days, 8 hours most days to fully see everything. I read every single thing though, I look up birds I see in my field guide, and other various things. For normal/typical walkthrough, just looking and no sign reading, I would give yourself 5 hours at least.
About 2 hours.
