Add onto this question. Is there any where to store the cooler inside the zoo, or do we have to carry it with us at all times
Yes. Even a large cooler. Can take whatever including beer. No glass.

Also a side note, their site states that they are fine with you bringing snacks and drinks. If I remember directly, the only stipulation is no glass. They sell alcohol there so I'm not sure if they'd be okay with that but you could always check.
