Black bear in Tulare is hit or miss. Occasionally the food is terrible, but the service and atmosphere, keeps me going back. I always get the tri tip dip sandwich. I wish they 12 would bring back the prime rib.
I’ve only been to black bear two times but the food is great the service is great the atmosphere is outstanding and I think iOS a great restaurant
Steaks are tough but everything else is good

I enjoyed my visit to Black Bear in Tulare CA. The restaurant was clean our server was nice and the food was hot and delicious.

We went there twice. The first time was perfect. The 2nd time they messed up our food. They fixed it right away and it was fine. We have been to other black bear diners but actually the Tulare one was our favorite

I have been to many black bears restaurants and I've always had great service delicious food never burn always warm or hot I'm sorry that your experience was not great
Been there 2 times already and the service was terrible. You could tell the waitress did not want to be there and she avoided people. Try to ask a question and she kept walking. In order to give our order, get drinks, get take out boxes and get our bill we had to ask the manager, who was working harder than our waitress.
You obviously had a bad evperience. I went there for dinner and it was pretty good. I've been to many Black Bear restaurants in California and Arizona . . . And it's been prety good.
Sorry to hear that, but we have always a good time over there. The food and service has always been great. Hope you give them one more chance
