Definitely reserve

Reservation is usually needed to get sites with electricity. There's usually tons of sites available without power. It's actually a nice campground, especially if you have a boat or jet skis.

Reservations are better

Campsites are available for reservations and first come first serve. If you go on a whim without a reservation, it is possible they can be full and not have sites available. In all the years I've been, this has only happened once.

You can reserve but there are a few spots that are first come first serve.
