Very pretty, clean and $15 (for senior pass holders) for spacious RV parking with electric is great. COE parks are always excellent Only complaint is that the traffic noise and music from bar nearby on Saturday night is relentless.

Very nice campgrounds. Restrooms and showers are clean, and updated. As nice as some mid price motels. North campground has canopies over the tables. More trees for shade would be nice. Camp official Nancy was very helpful. I am disabled and she assisted me in getting the best site for ease of restroom facilities. Kern County could take lessons from Tulare County regarding how to set up and run a campground.

Make sure you are here in time before the gate closes. Rangers are great
Glen San Marcos
Really nice, flat, open CG with a lot of grassy areas. Nice lake with fish! Caught some nice sized largemouth bass on my trip. The only thing that messed it up was...I got my kayak stolen. The staff and local authorities were nice in trying to help me get it back, but we had no 'success'. I would return, but only in the off season because it looks like it can get really crowded there. Word of warning: if you need to do laundry there is a laundromat on Springville in Porterville - DO NOT GO THERE. I thought I was gonna get mugged there. Three (of 20) washers were working, and only two dryers were working.

You can walk around
Yes and make sure younger kids have floating devices if they are present and want to swim as well.
It's daily, you may have to move your camp every week or two weeks
There are different costs if you are disabled, A vet or senior ect
Reservations recommend, especially on weekends.
Tents are okay but, you should make reservations just in case.
Yes. I see several vans parked here at the moment
Yes you are fine to go a little early, you might had to wait by the lake.
Yes there is parking lot other than camping area
After hours there is nothing to keep you from entering the campground. If you have reservations and know how to find your campsite, go ahead and set up. They will catch up with you in the morning. I don't know about the day use area. It has a different entrance.
The campground is open!
I have not measured it myself but I know that they have boats so it has to be fairly deep.
Yup
It's a descent area but great for fishing or boat rental available for over night.
No not at this time
Camp closed at present
Some area...nice
Yes all rear
Bass, trout, blue gill, catfish, crapi
Yes
Its open at at least dawn or 6:00 a.m
The higher numbered campsites are closer to the lake.
I don't know how to go about that but I'm sure there will be a GoFundMe
For day use the disabled still have to pay the $5 fee. Not sure if there's an extra fee for a small bus of disabled individuals for day use only.
You have to leave it is 14 days in one month
Reservations are best but you can just stop in and see what they have.
20 a night np hook ups 30 a night for electric
You would have to look up on google campground phone # and call between 9am and 3pm. The ranger will let you know, because I'm not sure. Hopefully I helped you out.
When I was there a couple weeks ago it did I don't know about today.
20 for camp site, 30 for site with electricity
Powered sites are $30.00. Sites without power are $20.00 per night.
