I got the #1 wash which was $18 and recommended by the employee and decided to tip as well and was fairly disappointed in the service. I miss the Waterdrops Express car wash service and prefer it over this new one. They don’t spray your car with the bug spray to soak for a couple minutes before going into the wash. They spray your car right BEFORE you get it all washed off and it is basically ineffective. My car was still covered in bug guts afterwards. The back of my car, where my spare tire sits, was completely dirty and looked untouched by water or soap. None of the workers even help dry off your car to avoid water spots. Water drops employees were ALWAYS seen running around with towels and drying off cars and it helped a lot. Honestly, I don’t believe they deserved a tip after this and I don’t see a reason to tip at all. The wash was so quick and felt like it did nothing for my car anyway for being nearly $20. The blue towels were out in the machine but the workers found me one in their stock room so I’m glad I didn’t waste an extra $2. Waste of money. I feel I could’ve gotten the same results with the cheapest option.
