Just camped there last week. On the day use side, the shaded area is about 30 yards from the water. But there's picnic tables up there and it's usually very breezy and pleasant. Awesome campground.
Yes there is, higher up away from the water but not far there's trees.
The entire beach is tree-lined so there should be shady spots no matter what time of day you're there.
