What a great campground!! It's well maintained and right on the lake. There are many sites that are shaded and spacious. We'll be back!!

My favorite campground, we have been going there for 3 yrs.I was there in 2020 the day of the wind storm and barely made it out without any damage lol.We went back week after memorial day to find that nearly 1,000 were lost to the 2020 storm and tree maintenance,so it's looking a little bare. Nevertheless the less its still my fav campground, friendly staff and people and the water is wonderful.

Not great weather but what a fantastic place! The surroundings are just so beautiful. We saw a moose, ride bikes, went for a hike to the Sam Owen graveyard and played on the beach. The campground is well maintained and clean. Staff was helpful and kind. We love this place and will be back for sure.

We camped here at Sam Owen park for three days. Unfortunately, it was fire season and a nearby fire at Cougar Mountain and others caused there to be a lot of smoke, so visibility was very limited at times. We loved the park, the area and really enjoyed our stay. Facilities were top notch and very well cared for. This is a preserve, so you will see LOTS of animals. We saw many deer, Turkeys and other birds. No bears this time around, but they are known to visit the area. This was fairly well recommended on TripAdvisor, so my wife and I stopped in for lunch as we were headed to Kettle Falls campground.

No the campground is closed until May.
Yes but it costs to dump. Even for those staying in the park. You'll need a credit card.
The deer are there all the time. But the past few years there haven't been as many.
