I had a tiny dot now it have went have way across a crack now not deep in front of my windshield what is a price for a new windshield or can this old one be fix.

They are right. You will have to get a new one if you go to safelite.

each crack is different.....I had 3 separate ones, but still got repaired at reasonable prices

If its halfway across the windshield you will likely have to replace the whole windshield

It depends on how deep it is and the make and model of your car.
