I had my car in last week for an intermittent problem, because I have an extended warranty they gave me a loaner car for the so they could test my car in the morning. My guess is if your car is under warranty, and it needs to stay the night, they most frequently will put u in a loaner or a rental car. Hope this helps. But I must note that I have always put in a vehicle when I really needed it. I think twice is how many times I really needed it in the past 5 years. I found a ride one or twice. No loaners for oil changes... Crazy if they did!
You have to have your own insurance to rent a car through ford dealership. You have to have a serious problem with your car. Hope this help
If the repair is a recall you should get a rental. If you have extended warranty you can call and ask.
